Frequently Asked Questions
What are the current limitations of the Financial Aid Completion Tool?
Due to loss of funding in the 2025 legislative session, the Colorado Department of Higher Education anticipates impacts to the Financial Aid Completion Tool. Please note the following limitations based on reduced staff capacity:
-Only school districts/designated entities with existing or in-progress Data Share Agreements are supported; all Data Share Agreements will expire on December 31, 2025.
-As of June 27, 2025, newly requested agreements are no longer being accepted or processed.
-Expected delays in communication for current user accounts, data corrections, and other general inquiries.
We understand the importance of this tool and are working on potential solutions. We are awaiting updates on reinstating services in the future. District-level completion data will remain publicly available on the main landing page.

Is data for the 2026–2027 academic year available?
Currently, due to the ongoing federal government shutdown, data for the 2026–2027 academic year is unavailable. It will be uploaded as soon as it becomes available.
Additionally, the tool does not yet include data from the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA). CASFA information for 2026–2027 will be added once available.
